BIM Collaborate Pro | Essentials
A private course, delivered virtually or in person, led by an Autodesk Certified Instructor, covering the essential knowledge required to manage collaborative project workflows using BIM Collaborate Pro.
Description
BIM Collaborate Pro | Essentials is a comprehensive one-day private course, which can be delivered either virtually or in person. Led by an Autodesk Certified Instructor, this course is designed for professionals transitioning from local network workflows to cloud-based collaboration. The course is ideal for project teams aiming to enhance coordination, reduce rework, and improve communication through cloud-based project management.
Throughout the course, you will learn how to configure and manage projects in BIM Collaborate Pro, focusing on efficient document management and real-time design collaboration. You will start by setting up your cloud-based project environment, learning how to manage account and project settings while configuring roles and permissions to ensure secure collaboration across multiple teams. As the course progresses, you will discover how to create shared workspaces that support collaborative design efforts, utilising tools for tracking changes and managing design packages effectively. You will also explore cloud-based document workflows, learning how to organise project files, monitor file versions, and use review tools such as markups and transmittals to streamline document management. Additionally, the course covers the use of coordination spaces for performing clash detection, tracking project issues, and generating reports that improve design accuracy and reduce rework. These skills will allow you to keep stakeholders informed and ensure smooth project coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
By the end of the course, you will have the essential skills needed to set up and manage projects in BIM Collaborate Pro, manage document workflows, and collaborate on your designs across multiple teams and locations. You will learn how to reduce errors through clash detection and optimise project coordination through cloud-based tools, improving overall project efficiency.
